President Trump just gutted the Wall Street reform put in place after the crash in 2008. Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola, and Michael Shure, the hosts of The Young Turks, tell you how Trump set up the next recession. Tell us what you think in the comment section below. https://www.tytnetwork.com/go “Prior to a meeting with his economic advisory council on Friday morning, President Donald Trump held a briefing to set the agenda for it. “There’s nobody better to tell me about Dodd-Frank than Jamie,” Trump said, referring to 2010s Dodd-Frank Act, the single most visible legislative consequence of the banking crisis, and also to J.P. Morgan’s CEO, Jamie Dimon, with whom he would later meet to discuss regulation. “We expect to be cutting a lot out of Dodd-Frank,” Trump said. “I have so many people, friends of mine, with nice businesses, they can’t borrow money, because the banks just won’t let them borrow because of the rules and regulations and Dodd-Frank.” Hours later, as promised, the president issued a memorandum that sets in motion his plan to scale back the provisions of Dodd-Frank and repeal the upcoming fiduciary rule—the latest in his slate of executive orders aimed at decreasing regulations. Named for Senators Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, the bipartisan act—formally, it’s the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act—was responsible for creating more stringent rules regarding bank capitalization (that is, the amount of money that banks must have on hand), increasing compliance and reporting standards for banks, introducing stricter mortgage requirements, creating the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and curbing excessive risk-taking and the existence of too-big-to-fail institutions on Wall Street.” Read more here: https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2017/02/trump-dodd-frank/515646/ Hosts: Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola, Michael Shure Cast: Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola, Michael Shure *** The Largest Online News Show in the World. Mandrin receiving euros from bank teller 21. Mid of shredded franc notes wrapped in plastic with Bank of France Fiduciary Activities General Director, Henri Jullien, behind them 22. SOUNDBITE (French) Henri Jullien, General Director, Bank of France Fiduciary Activities: "It has been ten years that we've said that these bills won't be reimbursable for more than ten years. Since September we have done a lot of publicity. We will have around 50 to 60 (m) million bank notes reimbursed so the French state will recoup 550 (m) million euro (723 (m) million US dollars)." 23. Shredded franc notes wrapped in plastic STORYLINE: It's time to bid adieu to the franc. Six centuries after the first one was minted and a decade after they went out of circulation, the last French francs are being exchanged for euros, severing France's final link to its former national currency. The Bank of France set a deadline of the close of business Friday for French savers to exchange whatever leftover franc notes they've kept stacked away in drawers or under mattresses, whether held onto intentionally as souvenirs or simply forgotten about. The euro replaced the franc in wallets and purses in January 2002, but the central bank has continued to accept francs in exchange for euros until now. The franc's end comes as the euro suffers the worst crisis since its creation, and the once-taboo question of a eurozone break-up is now front page fodder. The euro is a daily reminder to more than 330 (m) million Europeans who use it of the dismal state of the economy in the 17-nation eurozone. While few Europeans are prepared to scrap the euro - in part because they fear a chaotic collapse more than the current muddle - some are nostalgic for the money they counted on before it arrived. Retiree Micheline Blanc, for example, says life was better and cheaper when the French franc was in circulation. Larry's mission is to make certain his clients receive holistic and objective advice on their financial goals, needs and wants. As an independent advisor, Larry is 100% unbiased with no conflict of interest to any one company or financial recommendation. Larry says, "It's my job to provide my clients with a forward thinking 30,000 foot view of their current risk levels as well as their future tax liability". Larry adds, "It is imperative that Americans learn that their current investments are not protected from loss.... therefore I am compelled to educate them how a "financial safety-net" could very well be in their best interest.”Mr.Kraujalis has been speaking on this special interest area of Wealth Protection and Retirement Income Planning in Pinellas County for 15 years. In that timeframe, no client ever lost a nickel due to a market loss. This was accomplished not with luck but with prudent safe money strategies that are available to everyone. However, the large brokerage firms do not mention these "safe money solutions". When it comes to financial concerns, Mr.Kraujalis believes that at the end of the day.....having a stress-free and worry-free financial life is all that really matters.Larry refers to this as "peace-of-mind planning.” As a financial advisor for 15 years in Clearwater, Florida I always put my clients best interest first and to remain unbiased with no-conflict of interest to any one company or financial recommendation. This is called acting as a Fiduciary no matter what. As a baby boomer and pre-retiree myself, I know exactly what consumers and investors have on their mind. They want trust, care and most importantly....do not want to lose any money. http://privateworth.com/index.htm As a safe money specialist, no one has ever lost a dime with my recommendation. This is not luck but a well thought-out financial plan backed with guarantees. In addition, this includes the option of receiving guaranteed lifetime income no matter how long one lives. Many are concerned with the cost of living and the associated future inflation. This is handled by offering my clients inflation protection with the "increasing" lifetime income option. For a successful retirement, Risk must be taken off the table. http://privateworth.com/index.htm Another http://www.moovinvideo.com
